A memorandum of understanding to boost bilateral relations in health and the exchange of information on issues of mutual interest was signed by Greek Health Minister Michalis Chryssochoidis and his Egyptian counterpart, Minister of Health and Population, professor Khaled Abdel Gaffar, at the ministry in Athens on Wednesday.
In a statement, the ministry said that also attending the meeting were Deputy Health Minister Marios Themistocleous and Health Services Secretary General Lilian Vildiridis, while on the Egyptian side attending were Egyptian Ambassador to Athens Omar Amer Youssef, Associate Minister of Health & Population for International Relations Dr Hatem Amer, and other officials.
