National Economy and Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis will be in Tirana on Tuesday to take part in the Berlin Process Meeting of Economy Ministers on the topic " Common Regional Market - A step toward the EU single market."

The meeting is expected to discuss issues relating to the Western Balkans' integration in the EU single market, the economic convergence of the countries of the region with the rest of Europe and the unification of payment systems in order to facilitate commercial transactions, as well as their future integration in the eurozone.

During his visit to Tirana, Hatzidakis will meet with the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania Anastassios.

The Berlin process was set up in 2014 as a platform for high-level cooperation between high official representatives of the Western Balkan Six (WB6) and their peers in Berlin Process host countries. The Process also involves the EU institutions, international financial institutions and the region’s civil society, youth and businesses.
